President's Message

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to Rabindrabharati Computer Saksharta Mission, an educational institute established under the guidance of Bardhaman Iqra Charitable Trust. Our institution has been founded with a clear purpose: to make education, computer literacy, and digital skills accessible to people from every section of society.

We are living in an age where technology has become an integral part of almost every aspect of life. From education and employment to banking, communication, government services, and business, basic computer and digital knowledge is no longer a luxury—it is an essential part of modern life. However, many people, particularly those from economically weaker and socially disadvantaged backgrounds, still face difficulties in accessing quality computer education.

Rabindrabharati Computer Saksharta Mission was established to help bridge this gap. Our objective is not simply to teach students how to operate a computer, but to provide them with practical knowledge and useful digital skills that can help them in their education, career, employment, and everyday lives.

We are committed to providing free and affordable education wherever possible, with special attention to economically disadvantaged and underprivileged individuals, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), minority communities, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized sections of society. We believe that the opportunity to learn should not be determined by a person's financial condition, social background, or circumstances.

Our institute seeks to create a learning environment where students can develop their abilities with confidence and dignity. Along with computer education, we aim to encourage discipline, practical learning, self-confidence, and a willingness to continue learning in a rapidly changing technological world.

We also recognize that education is not limited to classrooms or certificates. True education should help an individual become more capable, independent, and responsible. Therefore, our efforts are directed towards developing skills that have practical value and can help learners participate more effectively in today's digital society.

The journey of an educational institution is built not only by its management and teachers but also by its students, parents, supporters, and the wider community. I sincerely hope that everyone associated with Rabindrabharati Computer Saksharta Mission will work together with dedication and a spirit of service to achieve our common objectives.

Our vision is to contribute to a society where digital literacy and access to education are not restricted by economic or social barriers. We aspire to empower individuals with knowledge and skills so that they can take advantage of the opportunities created by technology and build a better future for themselves and their families.

As President, I am committed to supporting the institute in its efforts to expand educational opportunities, improve the quality of training, and reach more learners who need access to affordable computer education.

I invite students, parents, educators, community members, and well-wishers to join us in this mission. Together, through education, skill development, and digital empowerment, we can contribute to building a more educated, skilled, digitally literate, self-reliant, and inclusive society.

With best wishes for a brighter and digitally empowered future.

Mr. Ismail Sekh

Literary & Artistic Career

Tagore began writing poetry at a young age, publishing "Kabi Kahini" in 1878. He published a vast array of works: novels (Gora, Ghare-Baire), short stories, plays, and thousands of songs (Rabindrasangeet). He freed Bengali literature from traditional classical constraints and painted over 2500 works.

Won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1913 for "Gitanjali," becoming the first Asian Nobel laureate. Composed the national anthems of India ("Jana Gana Mana") and Bangladesh ("Amar Shonar Bangla"). Received a knighthood in 1915, renounced in 1919 in protest of Jallianwala Bagh.

Educational Reformer

Founded the experimental school at Santiniketan in 1901, later expanding into Visva-Bharati University in 1921. Provided holistic education combining Eastern & Western philosophies, emphasizing creativity and nature. Championed social reform, justice, women's empowerment, and rural development.
